– “Wings of Hope: A Childhood Cancer Awareness Event” held at Saint Vincent Basilica Parish in Latrobe, Pennsylvania in their Assembly Room. We released butterflies and made cards for children with cancer (All cards were sent to Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, FL). We also awarded the Thinking of Nikki Foundation with our 1st “Wings of Hope Award” and collected donations for “Joy Jars” – a project of the Jessie Rees Foundation. “Joy Jars”are filled with small toys and other fun items and are sent to children battling cancer around the world.
