On Saturday, April 28, we put together the care packages for mothers at Ronald McDonald House Pittsburgh for Mother’s Day. There are 10 total. They include word searches, hand lotion, hand sanitizer, adult coloring books with colored pencils, blank writing journals, pens, hard candy (life saver mints, hard caramel candies, and jolly ranchers!), gum, crystal light packages (Some bags have iced tea and some have lemonade), emery boards, calming teas, blankets, soft puff tissues, socks with aloe, chapstick, playing cards, note cards, and travel mugs. We are also including letters, cards, a hand written poem our Founder & Executive Director, Bayley Paharik, wrote, and a survey with a self addressed and stamped envelope for the moms to mail back to us. We are delivering them next Saturday, May 5. The bags have HAM’s logo on them with vinyl.
We will be sharing pictures of us delivering them. Below are pictures of us putting together the care packages along with the finished bags (The pictures are missing some of the items since we had to add them later, but they have the rest of the items!).
