Handling Conflict

We live in a place where there is sometimes a lot of conflict.

Some of you might be working in an environment where there seems

to be drama, drama, drama and nothing productive getting done.

In 2015, strive to not let the conflict get to you and try not to cause

How can I do that when everyone is fighting around me?

A “simple” way of “handling” conflict might be to get angry.

But what does that achieve?

The conflict at hand might have stopped, but there is still bitterness

Proverbs 15:1 says, “A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous

words stir up anger.”

Responding kindly helps the conflict subside faster than responding

with anger.

And if you have nothing nice to say, simply ignore it and eventually

conflict should dissipate.

That’s not an easy thing to do. Is it?

But God does not ask us to do what is “easy”; He asks us to do what

is right. And God will bless us for it.
