Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People?

How many of you have wonder: Why do bad things happen to good people? If you have then you are not alone. Tons of people across the world have asked that same question yet there has not been a complete answer to it.

The fact of the matter is that we are not “good.” We are not bad people, but we are sinners. We are human. Life is not always fair. Maybe we should not ask why, but how. How can I use bad things that have happened to me for good? How might I honor God even through this bad?

Maybe the reason bad things happen even to “good” people is to show us that even we are not immune to life’s struggles. Even we cannot escape life’s trials. Bad things happen even when we are serving God. The difference is that God pulls us through it when we serve Him. God will turn all storms into rainbows.

I do not have the answer to why bad things happen even when we are serving God, but I have a theory as to why. It is easier to serve God when things are going great, but it is not so easy when things are not going so great. Maybe bad things happen to good people to teach us to serve Him in all things.

How many of you have had a horrible situation happen to you where you drew closer to God?

Life isn’t always fair, but God has a plan for you too.

Serve Him in all things! God bless!

  1. Bad things have happened when I was away from God. Bad things have happened when I was close to God. It didn’t make sense. Frequency and severity of bad things in life is more compared to others. I have always asked “why”.
