Taking Time Out for You

Everyone needs some alone time. We live in a stressful world where everything has to be done now. This world is very fast paced which can cause additional stress. Spend some time doing what you love. Not only will you feel better, but so will everyone around you.


Some things you can do during your alone/quiet time:

1. Read a book. The Bible is an excellent choice in a book to read.

2. Study the scripture. 

3. Bake.

4. Write in a journal.

5. Write a book.

6. Knit a new sweater or blanket.

7. Listen to a Christian radio program.

8. Listen to music.

9. Sit outside taking in God’s beautiful creation. 


It doesn’t matter what you choose to do, but try to take a couple of minutes or hours away from work.
