Strength in the Bible

The Bible speaks a lot about strength.

Here are some verses:

“fear not, for I am with you;  be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you,  I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” ~ Isaiah 41:10 (English Standard Version; ESV)

Seek the LORD and his strength;  seek his presence continually! ~ 1 Chronicles 16:11 (English Standard Version; ESV)

The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. ~ Exodus 15:2 (English Standard Version; ESV)

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me . ~ Philippians 4:13 (New King James Version; NKVJ)

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” ~ Joshua 1:9 (New International Version; NIV)

The next time you feel discouraged feel free to pray the above verses. It is easy to feel discouragement, but through God we can have strength. Through Christ we can accomplish any hurdles that come our way.

Hope… Determination…. Courage…. Faith….
